Atholl Rose People are delighted to be working with a national social justice charity with more than 50 years’ experience of changing lives, building stronger communities and reducing crime. We aim to find a Bid Writer to join their highly successful bid team.

Recent graduates with a passion for the written word may not be aware that there’s a career that offers progression, financial security and the ability to utilise your writing skills to enable charities to develop critical services across the UK.

The Role

This position offers an exciting opportunity to consistently produce professionally written content that clearly articulates the businesses offer and value and provide research, analysis and administrative support that underpins the work of the business development team.

* Lead storyboard sessions with bid team members and key stakeholders

* Develop and manage an internal and external network of subject matter experts

* Assist the Business Development Manager in developing a bid structure

* Support the development and management of the pipeline, including the bid qualification process

* Review work at every stage pre- and post-submission, in order to identify areas for improvement and of high-performance

* Deliver completed written bid responses against agreed internal and external deadlines – escalating issues as required

The Person

* Graduates with a BA that developed strong written capabilities and fine-tuned your analytical skill set

* Strong time management/prioritisation skills

* Strong verbal and written English language skills

* Exceptional attention to detail
