Graduate Applications Engineer / Trainee Applications Engineer / Product Support Engineer / Product Specialist required to join a supplier of CNC machines and grinding machines based in West Midlands.
The Graduate Applications Engineer / Trainee Applications Engineer / Product Support Engineer / Product Specialist will be commutable to Warwick office covering a 50-mile radius, where you’ll technically support customers with product training, pre-sales and after-sales support, and demonstrate CNC machines.
This would suit a Graduate in Mechanical Engineering/manufacturing engineering looking for their first engineering position or a CNC machinist, Programmer or Apprentice looking to move into a Trainee Applications position.

Graduate Applications Engineer / Trainee Applications Engineer / Product Support Engineer / Product Specialist Role
Provide technical product support to customers based around Warwick.
Working from the office with flexibility, to visit customer sites when needed.
Understanding and a strong interest in 5-axis/adaptive machining
Demonstration of metrology / dimensional / 3D scanning / measuring equipment
Training customers on equipment
Remote and in-person support.
Pre-sales and after-sales support
Prepare time studies and recommend suitable work holding & tooling.
Perform customer-facing technical demonstrations.
Ability to use CAD software.
Evaluate customer-supplied 3D CAD data and customer drawings.
Providing technical product advice, sales, demos and training on a range of metrology / inspection equipment, 3D Measuring systems, 3D coordinates measuring technology, CMMs, optical / vision systems, inspection, calibration or gauging equipment
To support the development of the turnkey solution, working alongside your colleagues and the principal’s engineering team to develop a robust solution.
