The Role
To provide a first-class support experience to users of IT applications for both BAU and project-based activities concentrating predominantly but not exclusively on engineering-based processes. Energetically promoting best practices, and delivering value to the business, effectively, competently, and to a high standard.
Responsibilities
• 1st, 2nd, 3rd line Functional systems support for Applications
• Provide Technical knowledge and support
• Prioritise, triage, and resolve support issues
• Answering any queries raised
• Working closely with internal teams and client making sure they are up to date on the issues and progress
• Provide accurate and professional communications to internal customers on the progress against issues and requests
• Assist in the deployment of core products, taking end-to-end ownership of the delivery of assigned work packages
Experience/Qualifications
An engineering degree ideally electrical, mechanical, or manufacturing with a minimum of an upper second class
An engineering design background essential
Advanced Excel skills essential
Strong knowledge of software practices and methodologies
Prince2 & Agile training would be beneficial
The Package
The minimum salary offered for this position is £25,000 pa however the client may pay up to £32,000 pa to candidates who can meet all key qualifications and abilities.
