As a Graduate Airport Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting in the planning, and design of airport infrastructure projects. Your primary focus will be on civil engineering aspects related to airport facilities, such as runways, taxiways, aprons and terminal buildings. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and improvement of airport infrastructure while working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
·Assist in the design and analysis of civil engineering elements, including runways, taxiways, aprons, drainage systems, roads, and pavements, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
·Collaborate with a team of engineers to develop detailed designs, plans, and specifications for airport infrastructure projects.
·Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to create 2D and 3D models, simulations, and drawings for infrastructure components.
·Assist in the preparation of project proposals, cost estimates, and tender documents.
·Conduct technical calculations and analysis to ensure the structural integrity and performance of airport facilities.
·Liaise with external stakeholders, including government agencies, contractors, and consultants, to ensure smooth project execution and compliance with regulations.
·Stay updated with the latest developments in airport infrastructure engineering and related technologies.
·Adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations throughout all project stages.
Qualifications and Skills:
·Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. A specialization in airport infrastructure engineering is desirable.
·Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction techniques, and relevant codes and standards.
·Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and other engineering analysis tools.
·Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
·Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
·Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively.
