The Portfolio Group are excited to recruit a Sales Ledger Clerk with our client, a leader in HR services and software. They are going through a huge period of growth and are a business with huge ambitions, so now is a fantastic time to join them on their journey. The role involves working within the Sales Ledger department, and a successful candidate will be actively responsible for contract and invoice processing as well as liaising with the service and Sales teams. The position is suitable for an individual who is diligent, careful and has an eye for detail, prior finance team experience would be beneficial, but we would consider somebody without experience in Finance that has been in an office environment and worked with data and customers.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities as a Graduate Administrator:
Accurately, input & check new client contract data to onboard clients within internal SLAs
Direct debit administration: set-up, amend & remove details as necessary
Liaise with clients/banks where appropriate
Accurately post cash receipts and adjustments to the sales ledger
Raise refunds to clients
Bank reconciliation
The above is not an exhaustive list of duties, and you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by your changing role within the organisation and the overall business objectives of the organisation.We would like to offer this person an opportunity to study their AAT qualification after 12 months service so are looking for a Degree level in Business Management or Maths for example.
