A world leading design consultancy require a Graduate Acoustician to join their team in Hampshire.
Essential requirements for this role are; a BSc or MSc in Acoustics or closely related subject, IT literacy, excellent communication skills and a driving licence.
Typical duties of this role are project administration, undertaking noise surveys, completing basic acoustic calculations, writing reports and assisting senior staff members.
Previous working experience of Acoustics is desirable but not essential, as is the use of noise modelling software such as Insul and Bastien. You need to have a positive and creative attitude to problem solving, and possess a team spirited attitude with the ability to work on your own initiative. Great attention to detail is needed at all times to complete your day to day tasks, and you must also be able to prioritise and manage your workload to meet project deadlines.
