Our client is a secondary school based in Tower Hamlets that is currently recruiting for Graduate Apprentices to do the following main tasks:
· Support for Pupils in class and small group interventions
· After-school interventions
· Support for Teachers with resources, displays and admin in their subject area
· Support for the Curriculum – enrichment activities
· Attend trips and visits
· Cover for absent teachers, primarily in their subject
· Invigilation for exams
Other responsibilites:
1. Comply with the development of policies and procedures relating to child protection, health, safety and security, confidentiality and data protection, and reporting concerns to an appropriate person.
2. Be aware of and support difference and ensure all pupils have equal access to opportunities to learn and develop.
3. Contribute to the overall ethos/work/aims of the academy.
4. Deliver enrichment activities within guidelines established by the academy.
5. Contribute to the identification and execution of appropriate out-of-school learning activities which consolidate and extend work carried out in class.
6. Undertake tutor group responsibilities acting as an advisor for a group of students within the academy's Advisory Programme.
7. Attending full staff and departmental meetings as required and supporting departmental events/extra-curricular activities
