First Line Support Engineer (IT graduate) Borehamwood to £30k
First Line Support Engineer required by our client who has been established for 15 years and employs over 90 people in the UK.  They are entering a new and exciting phase of growth and are looking for an enthusiastic First Line Support Engineer to join the IT team. 

The First Line Support Engineer role will involve the following

Be the first point of contact for the IT ticketing system by reviewing, processing and assigning support tickets
Read and analyse application/ticket logs to identify issues and escalate as necessary and where possible solve issues for minor support tickets.
Ensure support tickets are processed as per SLAs
Coordinate with the ticket owner to investigate issues if required and follow up as needed.
First Line Support Engineer Key Skills for this role –

This will be an ideal role for an IT graduate or Junior developer looking to work with a busy web & systems development team.
Experience in handling basic database queries with MS SQL
Hands on experience with handling a ticketing system,
Basic knowledge of any coding language (preferably C# .net MVC), QA testing and agile methodology.
