Person Specification – Early Years Graduate SEN Primary TA –West London

We are looking for a charismatic and innovative graduate who has at least received a 2:1 in your Early Years degree and can prove a desire to work in education. You must possess a natural desire to become a future star of teaching and have the drive to learn as much as possible from this experience.

This post requires a versatile graduate who has had previous experience working with SEN children, specifically ASD, and a comprehensive understanding of SEN in primary education.
You will arrive with a kind, considerate and enthusiastic approach to individual support and be able to commit yourself to this post for the whole of the academic year.

About the Role
In this exciting Early years Primary Teaching Assistant position, you will be joining an Early year’s class based on the school's need. You will have the chance to expand your portfolio and contribute to the school in an academic way by joining a leading team or experienced Teachers and EY trained practitioners. Your duties will include supporting teachers and pupils throughout the EY department ensuring a balanced experience. Day-to-day, you will be receiving training and feedback from a talented Class Teacher who is known for providing exceptional mentoring for budding teachers. In general, you will be supervising groups of pupils outside of the classroom, who may have mild Autism or additional needs as you work with them to reach their personal targets.
