About the role
Working for the Area Manager and alongside the Field Service Team and Account Management Team, the Graduate Account Manager will be partially responsible for maintaining and developing the client relationship and potential sales projects assigned to customer sites for both specialty water and process chemicals whilst adhering to the SUEZ Compliance and Safety Cultures as well as the SUEZ Ethics Principals.
The Graduate Account Manager will take leadership from the Area Manager as well as guidance from the Account Managers who will assist in developing both commercial and operational skills to assist in recommended operational changes, reporting processes and communicate treatment performance enhancements with Suez customers in accordance with the business Value Proposition.
What will I be doing?
EHS & Compliance
* Learn how all aspects of the agreed contract scope are fulfilled including sampling, testing, reporting, and consulting directly with the customer. Ensure they always work in a safe manner when delivering company objectives and comply with internal, legislative and customer EHS requirements and policies.
* To always act in a compliant manner and aligned to the Ethics Charter policies when maintaining and developing relationships with customers.
* Commercial
* Understand the fundamentals of Suez customer commercial agreements at each assigned customer site and work alongside the Field Service Team and Account Managers ensuring all parties are made aware of any customer scope change to maintain and develop the company profitability.
* Identify opportunities for revenue growth and communicate to the Account Manager, whether ChemFeed equipment, training, analytical services, New Driveways, or increased scope of supply to existing customers
* Develop commercial acumen by supporting where possible the Account Managers in:
* Implementing marketing and sales programs within the assigned area
* Assist in maintaining the integrity of strategies, implementation of sales and marketing programs and achievement of sales goals within the assigned territory/market
* Assist in the development and execution of the territory specific account sales plan
* Manage customer satisfaction and escalate customer concerns internally
* Meet or exceed assigned KPI’s (activities and results based on individual Goals and Objectives)
* Participate as an active local member of Sales, Safety & where necessary the Operations Team
Operations
* Support the Account Manager in developing a Value Generation Plan and assist in optimising the operational activities within the assigned customers, to maximise productivity & profitability The Value Generation Plan should contain, but not be limited to, scope of supply of services, time & products as well as treatment limits, performance expectations & KPI’s.
What are the requirements?
Minimum Requirements:
* 2:1 degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or similar scientific discipline within the last 2 years.
* Full driving licence required
* IT literate, including proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
* Fluent in English language
Useful skills or abilities:
* Ability to effectively support multiple managers and teams.
* Good organisational, communication & interpersonal skills.
* Goal oriented self-starter.

* Strong customer focus.
* Mechanical, Environmental, Chemistry degree or similar.

* Successful candidate will have a demonstrated understanding of the measurements place and value selling strategies.

The role will involve regular travel to client sites within the assigned area/region of UK.
