As a learning mentor, you will be gaining valuable experience that will help you if you embark on a PGCE.

English Learning Mentor Specification
To be considered for this Learning mentor role, you will need to be a lively English graduate who has earned a second-class degree or better and love for English language and literature, with a passion for education. You will have the ability to talk with ease and confidence to everyone in a school, be that pupils or teaching staff. The school wants to see graduates who have a highly motivational approach that really gets the most out of their students. The ideal candidate will have great determination to offer the best support for all SEN pupils throughout the academic year.

About the English learning Mentor Role
As an English learning Mentor at this school, you will be working within the well supported English Department. Adding your own ideas to lesson plans, you will be allowed to practice and develop your planning skills while stretching your creativity. The school has committed to running bespoke learning pathways for low or high pupils through graduate-run intervention sessions and 1:1 class.
