Drama Graduate Teaching Assistant – York

The Job Role:

Supporting secondary aged pupils on a 1:1 basis, working to re-integrate learners back into mainstream education
Working within alternative provisions to deliver pre planned lessons across the curriculum
Using rapport to build and establish relationships with learners and encourage participation
Mentor young adults in-line with the School's positive behaviour reward system
The School:

Graded as 'Good' by Ofsted in their most recent inspection
Based in Fulford, South York with great access by bus and plenty of on-site parking
Provides education for Primary and Secondary aged students who have been excluded from, or are unable to attend mainstream education
Ensures all pupils have an Individual Personalised Education Plan to achieve the best outcomes for the students
Progresses student's academic, social and emotional learning
