During this programme, you'll gain valuable insight into our services and strategic projects and we'll help you to further develop your skills and knowledge so that you can succeed in your career. You'll also join our graduate network and receive our continued support throughout.

What you'll be doing;
– Working with the onsite team you will continuously review and improve processes, so they are fit for purpose, accurate and lean.
– Work closely with operational teams to ensure that data and reporting are effectively used to improve the efficiency and performance of the services.
– Take ownership of operational data, and maintain it to the highest standard, making sure it is current, accurate and real-time.
– Develop and implement the latest advances in technology to drive the digitisation of our services.
– Support the implementation of our digital training strategy and deliver operational end-user training.
– Support the delivery of a data-driven approach to service management where operational front-line managers have confidence in using Management Information to make better business decisions.
– Capturing requirements for reporting and system changes to ensure they are fit for purpose and are being used efficiently.
– Support our teams with service changes, which drive efficiency through routing improvements, using spatial (GIS) technology to assist.
– Manipulate large datasets to perform service analysis and as part of work on our operational systems.
What we're looking for;
– Degree-level qualification in Science, Business, Information Systems, Environmental Sciences or Geographical Information Science
– Able to work independently as well as a part of the team
– High problem-solving skills
– Good interpersonal and excellent communication skills, to provide information confidently and enable the end-user to understand complex data analysis
– Strong data skills and use of Excel/Google Sheets
– Desirable: A practical understanding of Power BI, SQL, GIS
