Our client (a Pan-European Distributor) is seeking a Graduate to join their thriving office based sales support team. Working closely with a field based Account Manager you will be responsible for supporting customer accounts by providing outstanding sales support. You will receive a personalised training and development programme, designed to provide you with the knowledge and skills to succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
* Making proactive calls to both new and existing customers
* Developing a good knowledge of the available product portfolio
* Processing sales orders and general administration
* Updating customer information in the CRM database
* Developing a strong business relationship with buyers/technical engineers
* Providing / arranging customer technical support (processing and trouble-shooting advice)
* Resolving customer delivery problems
* Sending out quotations, datasheets and product samples
* Raising and processing debit notes, credit notes and returns
Essential Skills/ Experience:
* Educated to degree level (preference given to a Science based subject)
* Previous experience in a customer support or sales environment would be a distinct advantage.
* Confident and persuasive telephone manner
* Ability to meet / exceed volume and revenue targets
* Strong team player with a positive "can do" attitude
* Enthusiastic, self-motivated and tenacious
* Highly organised and capable of multi-tasking in a dynamic environment
