This is a cutting-edge contract, and the big aim is to stop re-offending. Together with their supply chain partners, you will provide specialist support to ensure that people do not re-offend (the re-offending rates in the UK are around 70%) by ensuring that they have a stable progressive release, with support around housing, family re-integration, drug and alcohol support (delivered by partner providers) and employment support (delivered by yourself).

You will work with a caseload of around 40-60, providing one to one support. Your caseload will be an equal split of high level risk ex-offenders i.e. on average 50% are sex offenders, so you need to be confident, and adaptable to challenging situations. There are a range of targets to work to, such as job starts, short courses, work experience, vocational training or general support measures – so you need to be goal oriented, target motivated, and able to manage your own diary well.

Please note: this is currently on a 1 year FTC. You need to be a driver for this role as you will be covering the following areas: Isle of Wight, Southampton, Portsmouth, Basingstoke, and Aldershot (with your main base being on one of their offices depending on where you live).

This is a great career opportunity for university graduates with a background in Criminology, Forensic Psychology, Law.

Interviews will take place on the 2nd or 3rd week of February 2020
