Brewster Partners are recruiting for a highly successful and expanding South Yorkshire based manufacturing organisation to recruit a Business Development Graduate.

My client is offering an exciting opportunity that provides genuine scope for professional development within a dynamic commercial environment.

Forming part of an independent, well established and financially strong group of companies the business designs, manufactures and supplies a highly regarded range of specialist equipment and accessories for the global industrial marketplace.


Working in a fast-paced environment, the Business Development Graduate will take responsibility for managing the day to day operations of a buying group that utilises the buying power of a group of companies and takes that to market.

Main Responsibilities

Effectively manage, develop and grow a new customer base
Negotiate and manage suppliers to ensure the best rates and levels of service are received.
Develop new business leads
Establish and maintain effective methods of communication and management of current accounts
Identify, report on and pursue new business opportunities
Generate sales leads, negotiate and close deals
Networking and gaining referrals
Collate and analyse data and information and produce resource and other reports to inform effective decision making
Liaise, establish and work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders, colleagues and customers, building effective relationships to develop efficiency and contribute to the continuous improvement of services
Comply with statutory and internal process and procedure and maintain accurate financial and administrative records using organisational systems

Evidence of strong academic achievement including a good honours degree
Self-confident with excellent communication skills (verbal and written). Prior work experience in a customer focused / public facing role would be an advantage.
Persuasive and tenacious in character, able to work comfortably with stakeholders at all levels within the business
Ambitious, positive and flexible in approach.
