Starting ASAP, this Primary in London is looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant to join them. The schools are renowned for the support it gives students, staff and everyone associated with it. A lovely environment to learn within, you will be working 1:1 with either Early Years, Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 students, diagnosed with ASD
The students have some emotional needs and some behaviour problems, but the role is primarily about gaining trust with the students so that you can help them develop. Part of the role is also helping the student integrate into the wider classroom.
The lasts the entire academic year (with the potential to last longer) dependent on your plans for the future.To be considered for this post, you do not need to have SEN experience, but want to learn! This is a graduate post and is ideal for someone that wants experience working in Education or Psychology in the future.
