A friendly, expanding, corporate, financial services head office, based in Slough is looking for a graduate with a strong analytical focus to join their graduate scheme in their Dealer Finance team. The Dealer Finance Operations Graduate is responsible for all aspects of system and administration support to the Dealer Networks, together with the Dealer Finance Operations Manager. Strong Excel skills are required, with experience of working with macros.
Key responsibilities
To establish themselves as a main contact for the Dealers in all aspects of New and Usedvehicles through the wholesale inbox.
To ensure daily payments and collections are done in a timely manner and no out-standing'sare accountable for the daily run.
To be a main point of contact for all Fiat brands and associated brands ensuring that thecorrect payment reconciliations and reports are produced in a timely manner.
To be fully conversant with the SAP system, (Training will be given). Action all daily dealerrequests and answer any queries.
To manage databases for new and used units and ensure that all manual databases agree.Production of management information, statistics and analysis when required.
To produce daily/weekly/monthly reports to Head Offices. Completion of monthlyDealer package.
To chase and advise on any returned unpaid direct debits on a daily basis. To liaise withauditors / Dealer Finance Directors to achieve a satisfactory reply and solution.
To manage the HPI system and take appropriate action, also ensure that all relevant databases are updated in a timely manner.
To provide comprehensive support to Wholesale Department, including Auditors and AllBrands.
To adhere to the FCA regulations and requirements by not entering into any generalinsurance related activities.
Such other duties as the management and ad hoc may from time to time reasonably require
KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS:
Educated to Degree level (ideally Analytical, numerical, logical focus)
Highly numerate, able to utilise Excel and Word packages to a competent level. Ability to self-motivate and educate on new packages/software.
SAP knowledge would be a distinct advantage.
Ability to commute to the Slough offices is essential
