A top US Law Firm is looking to hire a new Graduate and Legal Recruitment officer to join the London office for an initial 9-12 Month FTC. Responsibilities will include managing the UK Graduate recruitment programme, including seat rotations, trainee appraisals, supervising open days and managing the law fair process. Other duties include overseeing the end-to-end recruitment processes for Lateral Associate and Paralegal hires, working with the Local Department Chairs to access developmental hiring needs and complement appropriate hiring processes, attending monthly London Recruiting Committee meetings and Global Recruiting Committee Calls and develop and maintain relationships with agency and contingent recruiters, including agreeing standard terms of business. Other duties include working closely with the overseas office for any secondments that may take place, manage the bi-annual performance review process for all team members, monitoring the annual department budget for the Office’s recruitment and development efforts and providing recruitment statistics to the Global Managers. Candidates need to have 3 years’ experience working in Graduate or Legal Recruitment – candidates need to have good knowledge of legal employment issues of the market – exceptional communication and organisational skills is essential
