The Santander Graduate Scheme.

There are 8 Santander Graduate Scheme divisions.
Technology and Operations. This covers Procurement and Technology, Operational Risk, Customer Service Delivery and Complaints, Managing, overseeing and controlling IT.
Finance. The graduate scheme is a rotational programme, designed to provide a broad overview of how the Finance division operates.
Risk. This programme gives you the foundation and breadth of experience you need to become a knowledgeable, credible risk professional.
Compliance. Compliance is about making sure the right thing is done and the latest regulations are followed.
People & Talent. By joining the People & Talent division, you’ll be part of the team that supports every one of our colleagues to work to their full potential.
UK Banking. This Santander graduate scheme has been created to help contribute towards finding future leaders of the business. Through a series of rotational placements you’ll gain an in-depth understanding of UK banking and the Santander business.
Corporate and Commercial Banking. The team’s work is all about relationships and relationship management. It’s how they set themselves apart from our competitors.
Marketing. It’s the marketing teams aim to help customers understand how the variety of products and services could benefit them.

Locations for the Santander Graduate Scheme.

This varies as per Santander Graduate Scheme.
Marketing is largely based in Milton Keanes.
Technology is rotational usually includes London, Milton Keynes, Glasgow, Leicester, Liverpool and Bradford.
Finance will be based in the London Head Office, but you could be placed in Milton Keynes or Leicester.
UK banking rotations could take you anywhere in the UK.

Application Dates for the Santander Graduate Scheme.

Deadlines varie across the different schemes. The are usually closed by the end of January.

The Santander Graduate Scheme Salaries.

Your starting salary will depend on which programme you join. These tend to be between £26,000 and £29,000 plus bonuses.
Once you finish your scheme a Santander Project Manager can expect to earn over £39,000 and a Finance Professional over £43,000.

Santander Graduate Scheme Requirements.

Most of the programmes require 2:1 level degree and 280 UCAS points or equivalent.

Can I apply for more than one Santander Graduate Scheme?

Yes, you can specify your first, second and third choice on your online application form.

Will they pay my expenses if I come to an assessment centre?

Yes, we’ll reimburse your travel expenses up to the first £50. Make sure you keep all of your original receipts so you can claim your money back.

If I am successful will you pay relocation expenses?

Santander do not normally pay relocation expenses.
