UX Design trainee scheme. “This is your chance to join our team of innovative and supportive UX designers. Get involved with the insight, imagination and regular research we use to create incredible experiences for people across the world”. You’ll need a degree in design and an outstanding portfolio. This opportunity is available as a 12-month, fixed-term contract. The salary is £24,000 per annum.

Engineering Traineeship. The BBC Engineering Traineeship is a ground breaking technology scheme for new graduates. Supported by co-investment from government, the BBC is offering a 22 month contract to work and train in technology teams across the BBC.
You will have a good honours degree (at least a 2:1 or equivalent) in Broadcast Engineering, Broadcast Technology, Electronics, Physics, Computer Science or a closely related subject. The BBC will pay you a Trainee’s salary of £20,000.

Trainee Research Scientists Scheme. This Trainee Scheme is an exceptional opportunity for graduates with a passion for human media interaction and technology design to join our award-winning R&D teams. The Research Scientist Traineeship is open to candidates with a good degree (minimum 2.1 or equivalent) in Human Computer Interaction, Behavioural Psychology, Cognitive Science, Interaction Design or a closely related subject, or demonstrable equivalent knowledge and experience. There’s a competitive starting salary of around £24,000 (outside London) or £28,000 (inside London).

Trainee Research Technologists Scheme. You could be working on the latest platform for HD TV, tapeless production tools or towards an IP-future. And as well as pushing the boundaries of technical thinking, we’re also keen to push your abilities: our blend of formal and on-the-job training will give you all the skills you need to become an expert in your field. There’s a very competitive starting salary of around £24,750 (outside London) or £29,000 (inside London). Ideally you’ll need to be a high academic achiever, with a minimum of a 2:1 or equivalent in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science or Broadcast Technology, together with an A Level in Mathematics, or be able to demonstrate strong equivalent knowledge and experience.

Digital Media Graduate Scheme. To get the most from your career you need the very best opportunities and the BBC Digital Media Graduate Scheme offers just that. This popular scheme, now in its fourth successful year, offers the unique chance to be a part of some of the nation’s most innovative and popular products, used and loved by millions of people. Starting salary of £21,800 (MediaCityUK and Cardiff) and £25,800 (London), with an increase in Year 2.
